It was there that I noticed that all the locations of my favorite fast food places were suddenly disappearing. Today in Tedium: A “broken chain” is a business which, at some point in its history, had multiple similarly functioning physical locations where a customer could purchase goods and/or services which presently has a significantly diminished presence and/or value as a brand compared to the same brand in its heyday. I asked the blogger, who goes under the pen name Zap Actonsdower, to write about his adventures. Recently, I was informed that someone had seen a piece I had written a while ago about fast food failures-and was inspired by it to take some adventures of his own.
